There can hardly be a less likely subject for greatness than a group of seven tree sparrows, their plain brown and grey-fawn plumage with tell-tale black cheek spots, can hardly be said to come from the regal world of peacocks, yet here they are, posturing happily on the simplest of Moorcroft plaques.
